Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non invasive high frequency sound transmission through the body via a probe or transducer. The sound waves are then reflected back by different layers of tissue structures , captured by the same transducer and converted into an image (picture) by the unit.

This modality is used in pregnancies, investigation of deep organs, soft tissue assessment as in musculoskeletal cases, in echocardiography (Heart) and in vascular examinations (Assessment of both arterial and venous blood vessels)
